Tamil hit film PS 1 which was released last year failed to impress the Telugu audience. The film was directed by Mani Ratnam casting all the famous actors Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. The film was made based on a Tamil historical story. The first part got hit only in Kollywood and also got huge collections in that industry, as they could only feel connected to the story shown.
PS 2 movie is all set for its theatrical release tomorrow. The second part faced problems as no distributors or buyers from the Telugu industry were ready to buy the rights to the film. The distribution rights in the Nizam area were later bought by Dil Raju. Mani Ratnam has again made the same mistake without making proper promotions of the film.
The movie also got fewer theatres to be released. It also has to compete with Akhil’s Agent which is going to release tomorrow. Most of the Telugu audience didn’t even watch PS 1 and now it is highly doubtful that the audience would watch the second part.
It is going to be the first film from South India to have a 4DX release. Recently, the team released an Intro video of the movie where the voice-over was done by Kamal Haasan. We have to wait if the second part of the film would please the Telugu audience or not.
