Viduthalai is a Tamil period crime thriller film that was released last month. The film was directed by Vetrimaaran. It stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre and Gautham Vasudev Menon in the lead roles. it is adapted from the short story Thunaivan. The storyline is that a police officer tries to capture the leader of a separatist group.
The film got appraisal from the audience and got positive reviews towards its characterization, performances, plot, technical aspects, background music and cinematography. Estimatedly, the film got ₹28 crore at the box office. The film was later dubbed and released in Telugu titled ‘Vidudhala‘ on April 15th.
Even in Tollywood, the film gained appreciation from the audience and got good collections at the box office. Now, Viduthalai is all set for its OTT release on 28th April in ZEE5 which is going to be the extended version of the film i.e., the director’s cut.
