Prabhas’s Salaar film earns Rs 36 crore for US rights.

Prabha’s most anticipated action film, Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire, is already earning big bucks. According to a report, The film earned Rs 36 crore for US rights.

Salaar: Part One – Ceasefire, had to earn Rs 75 crore for breakeven. Salaar North American rights have sold for $ 4.32 million, i.e. Rs 36 crore. It’s the second highest for a Telugu movie after S.S. Rajamouli’s directorial RRR. North American thr=atriacal rights for RRR were sold for Rs 40 crore.

The film already grossed Rs 5 crore from the USA market as part of advance bookings before its release got postponed after the delay in post-production. It is reported that the delay is due to pending VFX.

Prashanth Neel’s directorial film earned a whooping Rs 350 crores through the sale of their satellite, digital, and audio rights. Star TV bagged digital rights for all five languages, and Netflix bagged ott rights for all five languages.

The action film was scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on 28 September 2023 but was postponed to November 2023. Now, the film is postponed to 2024. The producer informed distributors that the film will be released on Sanktranthi 2024 in the summer of 2024.
