Pooja Hedge’s recent appearance in Cirkus directed by Rohit Shetty was limited, she was there in the film more as a supporting lead than given the importance of the main lead. In the era of the rise of female-centric roles, Pooja has mostly played characters where she is only given importance for being the protagonist’s love interest or for being someone’s daughter in the film.
Pooja was in talks, for playing the lead role for Ustaad Bhagat Singh, a Tamil film, Theri’s remake which is currently being directed by Harish Shankar. Pooja Hegde is reported to have been reconsidering her projects, the buzz suggests she has a lot of projects piled up but she is not down with most of them considering how her projects are being received so far.
Sources suggest that Pooja is reconsidering her role in Ustaad Bhagat Singh alongside Pawan Kalyan after calculating all the hits and flops she had this year. Every film that she appeared in is termed as a blockbuster or a flop but it’s not her performance that is being talked about. Is this the reason she is walking away from UBS? This speculation has been doing rounds for a while now. She is reported to be a part of Sai Dharam Tej’s Sampath Nandi.
