Kollywood star Suriya is making his foray into the Hindi film industry with director Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s Karna. Since the buzz, fans have been anticipating updates from the film’s makers.
Now, the project has been confirmed by the screenplay writer of the film, Anand Neelakantan, in a recent interview. He shared, “Suriya, starring Karna, will be a two-part film and is very much in the advanced stage. We will soon start pre-production work, and it has been a huge film.”
The director shares, “The idea is to make all of them, but it’s all about what the universe conspires. There are a lot of variables involved in making a film. It’s also got to do with your headspace if you’re ready to do a film at that point in your life.”
Suriya is currently busy with Siva’s Kanguva, which is said to be one of the most expensive films of the actor. The film marks the Tamil debut of Disha Patani and is said to be a period film that will be released in 10 languages. The film is being made in 3D and will be released in the summer of 2024.
