After her movie Annapoorani was taken down from Netflix due to “hurting sentiments,” actor Nayanthara released a statement. One day after its December 1 theatrical release, it was available for streaming. The actor now stood up to apologize and explain what she meant to say. She said”Jai Shri Ram,” Nayanthara said at the outset of her statement. “We may have unintentionally caused hurt in our sincere attempt to share a positive message.” We were taken aback by the OTT platform’s removal of a restricted movie that had previously been screened in theaters.
