National award-winning director and a South favorite who predominantly works with Telugu films, Neelakanta will be directing the film almost after 9 years. His last movie was Maaya, released in 2014. He is best known for his films like Show, Missamma, and Sada Mee Seva lo. He worked with celebrities like Bhoomika, Genelia, and Sriya and bagged a name as a director who could portray strong women characters. He received two national awards, one for Best Screenplay and the other for Best Feature Film in Telugu for Show while state Nandi Award in the screenplay department for the latter. Being Maaya his last movie which got released in 2014, he is now all set to come back.
Now, Neelakanta, winner of two National Awards and three Nandi Awards, has announced his next movie. His upcoming movie is titled Circle and is billed to be a thriller. The first-look poster and motion poster have been released by the makers online. The film stars Sai Ronak as the protagonist, with Baba Baskar, Arshin Mehta, Richa Panai, and Naina in other key roles. N.S. Prasu is composing the music for the film, which is set to commence shooting very soon.
