Natalie and actor Paul Mescal had a gathering for an interview where they had a discussion, sharing insights into how a film works. Natalie, curious about the fine intimate scenes in Hollywood, gave a shout-out to the actor for his scene in All of Us Strangers.
When the Thor actress asked why we don’t get to watch such impressive scenes nowadays, Paul replied, “Films like this are an indication of a distance that we’ve travelled, but ultimately there’s quite a ways to go. All I can talk about is my experience with filming those scenes. Andrew Scott’s character, Adam, who is in his mid-40s, has a difficult relationship with s**. My character serves as a safe landing space for him to re-explore his sexuality. I think s** in film, when it can be healing and se** at the same time, that’s when it’s at its best.”
Paul congratulated the actress for her performance in May and December, while Natalie complimented the actor praising his role in All of Us Strangers.
