Kollywood Iconic Director Maniratnam who recently participated in the grand teaser release of his upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan, has tested positive for COVID-19.
Maniratnam is busy with the Post-production work ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which is expected to be released in theatres on September 30th.
But as per the sources, the ace director felt sick and took COVID test which has been confirmed as positive.
Reportedly, after testing positive, ManiRatnam was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai immediately.
As per the reports shared by this hospital doctor, it is said that Maniratnam health is stable now and he has no other symptoms.
Meanwhile, Maniratnam fans and Kollywood celebrities took to their social media accounts to wish Maniratnam a speedy recovery.
On the other hand, his upcoming dream project ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is going to be released in September in five languages including Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam.
