The film’s producers have finally announced that Dheekshith Shetty of Dia fame will play the male lead in the film. This announcement was made on his birthday, along with a special preview of the film.
It has now been confirmed that Dheekshith Shetty will play the male lead opposite Rashmika Mandanna in this film. The 32-year-old actor made his Kannada film debut in 2020 with Dia, in which he co-starred with Kushee Ravi and Pruthvi Ambaar. The film was a huge success and was remade in Telugu as Dear Megha, Marathi as Sari, and Hindi as Sari.
Later, the actor appeared in Telugu films such as Mugguru Monagallu and Dasara, both starring Nani. In addition to several Kannada films in the works, the actor is a familiar face on Kannada television.
