Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s Main Atal Hoon centred on the life of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film dives into his politician, poet, and gentleman roles. Despite being a beloved star, Tripathi’s depiction of Vajpayee raised scepticism when the film’s trailer was unveiled, and the same hesitancy was evident in the film’s opening day box office numbers.
Main Atal Hoon performed decently on its first two days at the box office, earning an estimated Rs 3.25 crore India nett. As per reports, Main Atal Hoon debuted in theatres with Rs 1.15 crore before jumping to the highest percentage earning around Rs 2.1 crore. The film earns Rs 2.40 crore on its first Sunday in theatres.
At the end of the third day, the film earned around Rs 5.65 crore at the box office. Ravi Jadhav, a national award-winning filmmaker, directed this film with a cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Piyush Mishra, Raja Rameshkumar Sevak, Daya Shankar Pandey, and Payal Nair in pivotal roles.
