Plot

Inspired by the Indian national football team coach and manager Syed Abdul Rahim. He is regarded as the architect of Indian football, encapsulating the golden era from 1952 to 1962.

Ajay Devgn will be seen as Ayed Abdul Rahim, Priyamani, Gajraj rao, Rudranil Ghosh along with many others.

Produced by Zee Studios, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. The screenplay and dialogues are written by Saiwyn Quadras and Ritesh Shah respectively. Music is by AR Rahman and the lyrics by Manoj Muntashir Shukla. The film is all set to release worldwide in theaters on Eid, 2024 also in IMAX.

Maidaan is going to clash with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff‘s, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on April 10 in theaters.
