India’s much-awaited 54th International Film Festival is kickstarting on a high note. The festival will be held in Goa from 20 November to 28 November.
The ace actress Madhuri Dixit will be honored with a special recognition award for her contribution to Bollywood cinema at the International Film Festival of India. This award acknowledges her influence on Bollywood. The actress will attend the nine-day festival with her husband and perform her hit songs at the ceremony. It is reported that Bollywood stars Shahid Kapoor, Shriya Saran, and Nushratt Bharucha will grace the event, and others will also perform hit numbers.
During the interview at the festival, the actress said Cinema has given me so much about her performance. It’s time to give back something in return. What better to do so than through song and dance, which is not only an integral part of Indian Cinema but Indian culture as well
The film festival is perfect for establishing collaborations, joint productions, and cutting-edge technology. Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Salman Khan, Vidya Balan, Ayushmann Khurrana, Anupam Kher, Vicky Kaushal, Siddharth Malhotra, and AR Rahman, among others, will attend the 54th IFFI. Hollywood actor Michael Douglas is the recipient of this year’s Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award.
