The 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2023 will be held at Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium, Bamboli, Panaji (Goa) from November 20 to 28.
The much-anticipated festival, now in its seventh decade, showcases various films from India and across the globe. IFFI is screening over 270 films from 105 countries. The festival will be held across four venues from November 20 to 28. There are 13 world premieres and 18 international premieres, including Catching Dust.
The jury members will watch 15 notable movies in competition for the Golden Peakcook Award. The jury includes renowned Bollywood director Shekar Kapur, cinematographer Jose Luis Alcainne, and producers Jerome Palliard, Catherine Dussart, and Helen Leake.
Thirty-two entries across ten languages from 15 OTT platforms have been selected for the inaugural Best Web Series award. The winning series will receive a certificate and a cash prize of Rs 10 lakh. Fifteen titles are vying for the Golden Peacock Award, given to the best film winner, who will receive Rs 40 lakh as a cash prize.

Hollywood star Michael Douglas will be honored with the Satya Jith Ray Lifetime Achievement Award and his wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, will also attend the festival. The ace actress Madhuri Dixit will be honored with a special recognition award for her contribution to Bollywood cinema.
