Actress Madhoo, who had her Bollywood debut in the movie Phool Aur Kaante, has discussed why she chose to separate herself from the Bollywood community after leaving the business. She expressed sorrow for her choice and noted that while she has reunited with her female pals, her relationships with her male business friends have not been as positive.
“I was out of touch with them for 10 to 12 years,” Madhoo claimed in a radio interview with Radio Nasha Official. “When I decided to leave the film industry, I determined that I didn’t want any interaction with the industry folks. I have no idea why. I don’t feel proud of that choice. I said, “I’m done.” I was out of touch because I used that as my way out of the industry: “I need to get out of this.”
But today, they’re all back in my comfort zone, she continued. I just had a good time with Shilpa and Raveena. We meet together at gatherings and events. We are all adults with children, marriages, and adult responsibilities. My relationship with my heroes is not good.
