Lost to skip theatrical release

Bollywood actress Yami Gautam’s upcoming investigative thriller ‘Lost’ premiered at the IFFI under Asian Premiere Gala recently and now we have another important news regarding the release of this thriller.

Aniruddha Roy Chowdhary is the director for the film. As of now the film made multiple International film festival showcases like the IFFI, Chicago South Asian Film Festival, etc the film was expected to land at the theatres. But the makers have now opted for a direct ott release.

India’s one of top streaming giant Zee5 officially made an announcement confirming the same. The streamer on it’s Twitter handle share a poster of Yami Gautam and wrote, ” The birthday girl is kick off to search for the truth. #LOST on Zee5, coming soon.”

The movie lost story is inspired by the true events and billed to be an gripping investigate thriller which thrills the ott buffs who interested in thriller genres. The story theme is search for lost values of empathy and integrity.

Earlier in the month of October, the leading lady of Lost Yami Gautam revealed that the movie is looking for a theatrical release in Chit chat session on Twitter. But all of a sudden, the ott streamer announced a digital release.

To respect the decesion of thr makers, Yami Gautam also stood with the makers decision for opting ott release skipping theatrical release.

Lost has star cast besides Yami Gautam, including Pankaj Kapur, Rahul Khanna, Neil Bhoopalam, Pia Bajpai, and Tushar Pandey, in prominent roles. Quite understandably ‘Lost’ premieres directly on Zee5 as it is bankrolled by Zee Studios.
