Lok Sabha Elections 2024 -Thala Ajith Kumar was the first among the spotted actors to cast his vote in the ongoing Lok Sabha elections of 2024. Superstars Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan also exercised their voting rights on Friday, while actors Vijay Sethupathi and Dhanush were among those who fulfilled their civic duties by casting their votes in Chennai.
Thala Ajith Casted First
Ajith Kumar sported a stylish white shirt, blue jeans, and cool shades, maintaining his signature style as he arrived at the polling station. Engaging in a casual chat with acquaintances while waiting in line, he later cast his vote responsibly and greeted the voting officials.
Accompanied by his wife Aarthi Doss, actor Sivakarthikeyan was seen inside the polling booth, dressed in a white shirt adorned with straps. Aarthi wore a white salwar kurta with a matching Dupatta. Sivakarthikeyan posed for photographs, proudly displaying his inked finger, and reportedly was the second person to arrive at the polling station after Ajith Kumar.
Actors Who Casted Vote For Lok Sabha 2024
Rajinikanth, arriving early in the morning on April 19, cast his vote at the Poes Garden polling place in Chennai. Dhanush exercised his civic duties at the St. Francis Xavier School in Alwarpet. At the polling booth, Rajinikanth interacted with his team and publicist, waving to supporters and showcasing his inked finger. A video of him casting his vote quickly trended on social media.
Wearing an all-white ensemble, Rajinikanth spoke with reporters, emphasizing the importance of voting and urging everyone to fulfill their civic obligation. Dhanush cast his ballot at around eight in the morning at the St. Francis Xavier School on TTK Road.
Veteran actor Kamal Haasan arrived at Chennai High School, Eldams Road, in the morning to cast his vote. The Makkal Needhi Maiam chief was spotted at a polling booth in Koyambedu, urging everyone to vote despite not contesting in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, with his party extending support to DMK.
