Leo is all parallel to Vikram
Leo starring Thalapathy Vijay is one of the much anticipated movies of 2023. Fans were all excited for the release of the movie’s trailer and now everyone’s anticipating the film release which is slated to be released theatrically on October 18.
It’s also heard that the Tamil Nadu government is planning to grant permission for a morning show release on the opening day allowing the native fans to enjoy the film first. Will the government allow the film to run on the October 18 evening but can only be done if the makers allow for a special premiere.
Leo which was certified with U/A also revealed the duration time. Leo’s official duration will be 2 hours, 43 minutes, and 12 seconds. The first half of the movie will run for 1 hour 13 minutes and 9 seconds while the second half will run for 1 hour 30 minutes and 3 seconds.
The runtime for the second half is a bit higher than the first half due to the flashback portion. There has been a buzz about Leo as a remake of the English film History Of Violence but the makers have clarified that Leo is not an adaptation of HOV.
However, the basic plot and characters have been adapted for Leo from the novel and more than 50% of the film will have fresh scenes. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Anurag Kashyap, Priya Anand, Trisha Krishnan, Mysskin, and Baby Antony in key roles.
