Gowtham Tinnanuri made his mark in Tollywood with his past two films, ‘Malli Raava’ and ‘Jersey’. Both are excellent in their own way and made him one of the most sought-after directors in the Telugu Film Industry. Later, he also directed the ‘Jersey’ Hindi remake with Shahid Kapoor as the lead actor. Sadly, the film couldn’t become successful.
Before and after the release of the Hindi version of the Jersey movie, there were a lot of rumors about Gautham directing Ram Charan for his next. Mega fans were very eager to see their hero in Gowtham’s direction and they wished that the rumors would come true. However, it just became speculation and Gautham is said to have signed a movie for Vijay Devarkonda.
Now, much to everyone’s happiness, the film is most likely to start in Jan 2023 and the film backdrop is said to be sports. In recent times, Vijay Devarakonda has also faced heavy trolls with a huge disaster, Liger. With this, Vijay fans are hoping that this talented actor-director duo will come up with a successful film. More details about the cast and crew are yet to be decided.
