Kriti Sanon is one of the most sought-after heroines right now, with big hits like ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Mimi’. Although her most recent , Adipurush, bombed at the box office and in the views of movie-goers, due to its poor VFX and inaccuracies, everyone agreed that Kriti as Sita was a saving grace. The actress has not let this negativity halt her career in anyway, though, recently launching her own production house! Sanon took to Instagram yesterday to share the exciting news and revealed the logo of her banner cutely titled “Blue Butterfly Films.”
Along with the post she penned a heartfelt caption; “And Its time to shift the gear! I’ve been in this magical industry living my dreams for 9 years. I’ve taken baby steps, learnt, evolved & grown into the actor I am today! I absolutely lovvvee every bit and aspect of film-making. And now, its time to do more, to be more, to learn more, to tell more stories that touch my heart and hopefully yours too. Here’s to constantly evolving and finding the most beautiful version of yourself. Beyond excited to finallyyyy start BLUE BUTTERFLY FILMS with a full heart and big dreams!!”
She tagged her sister @nupursanon at the end, indicating that she may also be a part of this thrilling new venture. Fans and friends alike have been pouring in their love and best wishes, with comments like “Many many congratulations Baby, you have opened your own production house “and “So proud of you Krits actor,model,entrepreneur and now producer and theirs lot more to come.” Her Bhediya co-star Varun Dhawan commented, “Congratulations Kriti.”
Kriti concluded the note with; “Announcing something special tomorrow. Stay Tuned!” And the announcement has dropped! Kriti is pairing up with actress Kajol, 8 years after Dilwale for a film titled ‘Do Patti’ – a mystery thriller set in North India. This is to be the first movie under her production and it said to be co-produced by Kanika Dhillon and released directly on Netflix revealed the actress on her Instagram along side a photo of the four Boss women!
