King of Kotha starring Dulquer Salman has set a benchmark for audio rights in Mollywood by getting sold for whopping amount of 6 crores to Sony Music South. Previously Hridayam sold its audio rights for 2 crores.
Dulquer Salmaan who is busy with his upcoming projects all over India. Actor’s whose upcoming Malayalam film titled “King of Kotha” said to be showing him in a mass versatile character. Actor also has previously said KOK is his ambitious project post Sita Ramam success. Movie has recently wrapped up its shooting which actor took to Instagram by posting a funny video. Movie is a period film with gangster actioner sequences set in the portions of 1980s and 1990s.Dulquer will be seen playing multiple get ups in this movie.
This move has started shooting in 2021 and is directed by Abhilash Joshy which is also his debut directorial. Aishwarya Laxmi will be seen as love interest of Dulquer in the movie and is also the female lead. Ritika Singh will also be seen playing a crucial role in the movie. Shabeer Kallarakkal, Nyla Usha, Gokul Suresh are playing important roles along with other cast. Cinematography by Nimish Ravi and music is composed by Shaan Rahman along with Jakes Bijoy. Movie is produced under Zee studios by Wayfarer Films banner. Movie is slated to be released on Onam this year and is set to be released in multiple languages pan India.
