2018 movie enters into 50cr club, heading towards 100cr!

Judd Anthony Joseph’s ‘2018’ continues to rock the box offices. The film collected 50 crores within seven days of its release. 25 crores from Kerala, 2.3 crores from other states of India and 28.15 overseas. The global collection so far is 55.6 crores. The film has a record collection in Australia and UK.
Asif Ali also shared the happiness of crossing the fifty crore collection through Facebook. Meanwhile, the film will release in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages in the next few days.  Trade analysis estimate that the show in other languages will increase the collection significantly.
Lucifer, Pulimurugan, Bhishma Parvam, Kurup. Madura Raja and Mamangam are Malayalam films that have entered the 100-crore club. The crew had revealed that Malikappuram had earned 100 crores. The film collected 32 crores in four days. This is the global collection of the movie. With this, the film has become financially profitable through OTT, satellite, theatre share and overseas share. The first-day collection of the film was Rs 1.85 crore. 3.5 crore on the second day.
Theatre owners are happy that the theatres are active after the hiatus. The film enjoys a huge rush even on non-holidays. Box office reports indicate that 2018 is going to be the biggest hit of the year. 2018 will be the biggest hit of Jude Anthony Joseph’s career.
The movie hit the theatres in 2018 without much promotion despite having a huge star cast. The movie stars Tovino Thomas, Asif Ali, Kunchacko Boban, Indrans, Vineeth Srinivasan, Lal, Naren, Aparna Balamurali and Aju Varghese. Akhil P.
