Fast X: No more a two part finale, but a trilogy

Vin Diesel might’ve just confirmed that there are going to be two more movies in the Fast Saga. During the Fast X premier in Rome, the actor revealed that the finale to the series could be a trilogy.

When asked about the future of his character, Dominic Toretto,  the actor hinted that the conclusion of the series which was originally planned as a two-part finale could now be a trilogy.

“Without giving away too much I can say this. Going into making this movie, the studio asked if this could be a two-parter,” he stated.

“And after the studio saw this part one, they said, ‘Could you make Fast X the finale, a trilogy?’ So, um…” Diesel trailed off, while co-star Michelle Rodriguez added that there are “three acts in any story.”

While netizens are thrilled about this revelation, some took to Twitter to share their disapproval. Few of the netizens opine that there have been enough movies in the series and that the time to conclude the series has long come.

The Fast X movie is the tenth installment in the Fast Saga. It will see Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, and Sung Kang reprising their roles. Every Fast movie always has a new addition to the cast with the latest ones being Jason Mamoa and Brie Larson. The movie is geared up to release on May 19, 2023.
