Kantara Effect: Karnataka Govt helps Daiva Narthakas

Kantara is one of the super hit films in the recent times. The super hit Kannada film has performed well in all the South languages. The Tulu culture has been promoted through the film and the government of Karnataka is extremely happy with the way the film was made. The government decided to extend its support to the Daiva Narthakas financially.

A few days ago, BJP MP from Karnataka, PC Mohan took to his Twitter profile to announce the decision.

“Adoring Daivas, dance, and divine intervention. The BJP-led #Karnataka government has announced a Rs 2,000 monthly allowance for ‘Daiva Narthakas’ above 60 years of age. Bhoota Kola, a spirit worship ritual depicted in the movie #Kantara is part of Hindu Dharma.” he tweeted.

Rishab Shetty played the lead role in the film and he also directed the project. The film is still running in theatres successfully.
