Buddhists protest in front of actress Kangana Ranaut‘s office in Mumbai. The actress herself shared the picture of the protest as an Instagram story. A recent post shared by the actress on her Instagram story led to this chaos.
Kangana shared a picture with Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama and US President Joe Biden. This was after the recent child kissing controversy. But this is not meant to hurt anyone. Kangana says that this is an innocent joke.
Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Instagram story, “A group of Buddhists are staging a dharna outside my office in Pali Hill. I didn’t mean to hurt anyone and she shared an innocent joke about Biden being friends with the Dalai Lama. Please don’t misunderstand” (with folded hand emoji – writes Kangana.
“I believe in Buddha’s words and his holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama spent his entire life in public service. I have no objection to him. Don’t struggle like this in the scorching heat, please go home,” Kangana said in the post.
Earlier, the Dalai Lama’s kiss caused a lot of controversies. Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama has expressed regret for the incident of kissing the boy who came to hug him on the lips and asking him to lick his tongue. The Dalai Lama’s office said in a statement that it apologized to the boy and his family.
