Kajol is one of the most successful actresses who started her life in Bollywood with her debut Bekhudi 31 years ago! Her hard work paid off in 2011 when she got awarded Padma Shri in 2011. That, however, did not stop Kajol from remaining ahead in the game. She did 10 more movies after setting the benchmark, from Student Of The Year (2012) to Salaam Venky (2022). Her upcoming projects include Lust Stories 2, Sarzameen, and The Good Wife.
This renowned actress posted a rather shocking update on her Instagram today. On a black background, she wrote, “Facing one of the toughest trials of my life.” with the caption, “Taking a break from social media.” Everyone in her online community has come to a halt listening to this unexpected announcement. On the other hand, some are assuming this is an attention-seeking strategy for her upcoming series The Good Wife. For the unversed, this series is about a simple, old-school, naïve housewife who’s pushed into the responsibility of the whole house like a flood wave after her husband is thrown behind bars for corruption and sex scandals. The anticipated release of this Indian adaptation of the Julianna Margulies USA version was anticipated to enter OTT in the beginning of 2023, however, there’s no pace to that yet.
Coming back to her post, fans all over the world have been showing their concern for Kajol. A fan wrote, “Whatever happens, we love you and miss you. Sending lots of love, support and hugs. Take your time. Everything will be all right.”
