K-Pop Industry is as big s the ocean with so many internal happenings one would never know until it’s out. There are many groups that disband every year. Few of the groups become inactive due to the agency or public issues they wait for the seven-year contract which is called the Seven-year curse to just disband or end their projects. There are very few K-pop bands that haven’t disbanded even after 12 years since their debut.
1. Dal Shabet
Dal Shabet debuted on January 3, 2011, and underwent a lineup change leaving the company in 2018. The group has never officially disbanded while the members are pursuing their solo activities.
2. BBHAN
BBHAN debuted on February 11, 2011, BBHAN originally has three members but only one remained still promoting with the name. BBHAN mostly does OST for K-Dramas and Webtoons.
3. BB Girls
BB Girls also previously known as Brave Girls debuted in April 2011. Since 2021, the group raised to fame and has undergone many changes.
4. Block B
Block B debuted in April. Members haven’t disbanded but are busy pursuing their solos and few enlisted for military services. Their last group was in 2018 with the track Don’t Leave.
5. Apink
Apink is one of the groups whose fans are still loyal and have been supporting them since their debut. Apink debuted in April 2011. With five members currently, Group came back with DND this April to celebrate its 12th anniversary.
6.B1A4
B1A4 has debuted on April 23, 2011. B1A4 are now active as trio with Adore You before Sandeul enlisting in the military.
7.BOYFRIEND(BF)
the group held their twelfth anniversary recently were disbanded in 2019 under Starship Entertainment. The group now reunited for their tenth anniversary in 2021.
8.MY NAME
MY NAME debuted in 2011. Group has paused for a while to pursue their solo activities and now announced their eleventh anniversary event in Japan. MY NAME group are mostly active and famous in Japan.
These K-POP artists are still going strong with their own solo careers and making time for the groups is how they lasting long as well.
