Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s film set to release in Tamil !

Suriya  Shivakumar and director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra are set to work on a project based on the Mahabharata character Karna from Hindu mythology. According to recent reports, Janhvi Kapoor has been cast as the film’s leading lady, opposite Suriya for the first time.

The Mahabharata-based film will be a pan-Indian production divided into two parts, with a large budget. Suriya will play the titular role, and pre-production on the film is currently underway. It is reported that the film will be released simultaneously in Hindi and Tamil.

Furthermore, Janhvi Kapoor will make her Telugu debut this year in the Jr NTR film Devara, directed by Koratala Siva. The film stars Janhvi in the lead role of Thangam, with Saif Ali Khan playing the main antagonist.

According to reports, the film was originally scheduled to be released this year on April 5, but has been postponed due to pending work on the film’s visual effects. Furthermore, Janhvi Kapoor is expected to appear in two more films this year, one of which is Mr. & Mrs. Mahi and the other is Ulajh.
