Jamie Harris heaps praise on RRR, says Hollywood should try to do films like it

SS Rajamouli’s film’RRR‘ has truly been unstoppable in the Hollywood critic section as well during awards season. With winning an Oscar Award, the film also brought home top honors at the Hollywood Critics Association Film Awards, including Best Foreign Film, Best Original Song, and Best Stunts.

Many Hollywood big shots praised the film and Jamie joined the list now. In an interview, Hollywood actor Jamie said that the last film from India he loved was RRR. He said, “The last Bollywood movie I watched was RRR. I loved that. What I find fascinating is that the film starts with one genre and then suddenly moves to a different genre. The dance sequence, the special effect – it was fantastic. I think that is something Hollywood should do more of. You don’t need to stay in one genre for the entire movie. You can maneuver around, which made RRR more fascinating.”

RRR is a fictional story based on the lives of two Telugu freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. Ram Charan and Jr NTR played lead roles, respectively. The film collected over Rs 1,200 crore worldwide. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, and Shriya Saran also starred in the film.
