James Gunn faces black for his comment on Batman films

Batman films…

James Gunn, the Guardians of the Galaxy director, has been trending on Twitter for the past two days for his insensitive comments about Batman movies. James is no stranger to backlash – especially the kind that stems from resurfaced social media posts. He was also well aware of the backlash he’ll receive taking over as co-head of DC Studios.

However, James Gunn, the Co-Co of the DC Studios, is facing backlash from fans who have uncovered his alleged posts from years ago where he’d bashed Tim Burton’s Batman and Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins.

James Gunn has divided DC fans after his past criticism of one of the most iconic Batman movies ever resurfaced online. Gunn wrote in the first Facebook comment: “Keaton DID have a ridiculous voice. That said, I’d rather put up with an absurd voice than with horrible action sequences and acting barely worthy of the Batman TV show.

In a Twitter interaction, he told a user, “I have problems with both of Nolan’s films.” James Gunn once dissed the US 2.4 billion Batman trilogy years before joining DCEU.On Twitter, he criticised Hollywood ace director Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins; he said, “I don’t even really think Batman Begins is good.” Nolan fans took that comment seriously and trolled him for Suicide Squad failure and other DCEU film failures.

Netizens are trolling him for The Flash’s failure and blaming him for the recent flops of DC Studios films like Shazam, The Flash, and Blue Beetle, which were released under his scrutiny as Co-Ceo of the DC Studios.
