Set to release on May 23, 2023, this movie casting Manoj Bajpayee is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki and produced by Zee Studios along with Bhanushali Studios. For the unversed, Manoj Bajpayee is an underrated Bollywood actor who gained momentum after Gangs of Wasseypur and recently grabbed everybody’s attention with his ‘new project every 40 days’ revelation.
He also discussed in his interview that the shooting for The Family Man 3 is going to begin soon. Meanwhile, his upcoming movie, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is releasing in just 2 days and the hype is, of course, crazy. It is a courtroom drama where Bajpayee has played the role of Solanki – a lawyer. It is based on a true story where this truth-loving lawyer chooses a one-man-army battle against the corrupt defendants and judiciary system for 5 years for girls who were wronged by a godman.
From the trailer, one can tell the intense thrill it holds and how well Bajpayee has played such a crucial role. As it suggests, it is a war waged by willpower against power, where power completely lies in the hands of the privileged while the common man is left with just willpower. But, to underestimate such a trait is foolish and this movie is here to prove exactly that. After Pink with Big B, this courtroom drama is creating anticipation in the minds of the viewers.
