She is undoubtedly the best director of 2023 with her brilliant marketing strategy, as it played a significant role in the film’s success. She literally painted the world pink for the film. She is the first woman director to achieve the billion-dollar milestone. With direction, screenplay, casting, set design, costume designing, performances, music, and astonishing cinematography, the film is the best production design of the year 2023 so far.
Greta Gerwig is the best storyteller of the 21st century, and she achieved everything with just three films, Ladybird, Little Women, and Barbie. From portraying the mother-daughter precious bond in Lady Bird to portraying the bond between sisters in the vintage drama Little Women to representing the self-sufficient Barbie doll who wants to cherish her life with self-love, undoubtedly, she is the best storyteller of the decade, we need more directors like her. This time she will win an Oscar Award for best director may, be multiple awards. She deserves every award for Barbie.
