Zakir Khan, who recently interviewed the cast of Guns and Gulabbs, praised the film for its unique screenplay and storytelling. He also praised director and producers Raj and DK’s humour.
He said” I’ll start by saying that I immensely enjoyed the show. It’s because the three characters are very different and unique, and the best part I like about the writing of this show is that it’s well-connected with each other.
He praised the series’ humour and compared it with the iconic Hollywood film ”Pulp Fiction”. He said ” one thing which comes up regarding humour is that they have a certain kind of humour. Especially in a show like Guns and Gulaabs, even here, there is a specific type of humour, which I think is called the Pulp Fiction genre. When we do heartline stories, humour is critical.
Guns and Gulabbs is an Indian Hindi-language black comedy crime thriller created and directed by Raj and DK. The television series stars Rajkumar Rao, Dulqar Salmaan and Adarsh Gourav in the lead roles. The series contains six episodes and is now available on Netflix.
