Hong Du Shik in Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha also has a painful past that touches the deepest corners of the heart. Hong lost someone close, who he blamed himself for and hid in the village, although he was academically gifted and intuitive.
Seon-ho off-screen also tends to very deeply resonate with the character because of a similar past of his own.
