Sought-after south music director, S. S Thaman recently had an unforgettable experience. The star got to meet his cricket God, M.S Dhoni for the very first time.
The music composer met the former Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni during the inauguration of the Tamil Nadu Championship Foundation on Monday in Chennai. He shared the photo he clicked with Dhoni during the event and called the moment a dream come true. In a heartfelt and a touching message, Thaman called the cricketer his “cricket God” and revealed that his heart was jumping in joy. He further wrote that Dhoni made of his millions and billions fans truly happy.

He also extended his thanks to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, MK Stalin and Youth Welfare and Sports Development Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin for making the two meet. It was a moment that every fan wishes for.
Predominantly known for his Telugu and Tamil stints, Thaman has a number of hit songs in his record. His breakout film as a music director was Kick (2009). He won the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Ala Vaikuntapuramulo and Filmfare Award for Best Music Director – Telugu for Dookudu. He is now working on the score for Nayanthara’s next Lady Superstar 75, Pawan Kalyan’s OG and Ram Charan’s Game Changer.
