Now, his brand value skyrocketed in the North and West as well as South. Many in the film world consider the Telugu superstar as the next big celebrity for pan-Indian audiences. The euphoria generated by Allu Arjun’s all-around image has placed him ahead of all the other contemporary actors in the South region. The biggest controversy of Allu Arjun‘s time is when the actor reacted to Pawan Kalyan’s fans. The fans of Powerstar are almost infamous for creating controversy where none is required. Even his nephew Allu Arjun faced the brunt of the fans for which he sarcastically replied ” Chepaanu brother”, marking he will not talk about Pawan Kalyan. As the speculations of rivalry between Arjun and Pawan surfaced, the star decided to silence his fans once and for all during the ‘Oka Manasu’ audio launch. He said that he loved and revered Pawan Kalyan just like them but they can’t disrupt the functions of celebs of the mega family or other celebs with their rogue behaviour. The speech, although polite was dripping with sarcasm as he urged Powerstar’s fans to correct their behaviour and not cause further disturbances. This became a big deal since no other actor had stood up to PK fans like Allu Arjun did.
On another day, the actor spoke at the audio release function of his film ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’ and came in support of Pawan Kalyan. He slammed actress Sri Reddy for making abusive comments about his uncle
In the past when this stylish star was just a budding star, the actor was drunk while driving a car and during one of the drunk driving tests in Hyderabad, it is said that the actor tested drunk. Also, a video has done rounds on social media to show how Arjun skipped the drunk driving test and was arguing with the cops. In news that was published back then, it is reported that Allu Arjun later clarified on his Facebook page that the police asked him to blow in the breathalyzer and Arjun chose not to as he felt uncomfortable.
Back in 2022, Allu Arjun promoted an advertisement for Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions on 6th June about the rankers of IIT and NIT of the institution. Social activist Kotha Upender Reddy said that this advertisement is misleading and gave wrong information. He also demanded action against such wrong ads. And he booked a case on Allu Arjun for acting in the ad against Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions for giving false information, to Ambarpet police.
Recently Allu Arjun made headlines as he blocked his Varudu co-star Bhanushree on Twitter. Bhanu has taken this to Twitter posting a screenshot and posted, ” If you ever feel like you’re stuck in a rut, just remember that I acted in Varudu with Allu Arjun and STILL couldn’t get any work. But I’ve learned to find humour in my struggles – especially now that Allu Arjun has blocked me on Twitter
