Yash Raj Films is one of the biggest production houses to exist in the current cinema industry and without a doubt, competes with production houses that hail internationally. Today marks a glorious day as the founder of YRF, Yash Chopra’s birthday. He may have left us, but his memories refuse to let us address him in past tense. Although YRF initially was just a production house, over time, it expanded it’s branches in other similar field too. Currently, YRF is an umbrella parent company that has YRF Studios, YRF Home Entertainment, and YRF Music. On 13 October 2012, Chopra was diagnosed with dengue fever and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital in Bandra, Mumbai. On 21 October, Yash Chopra succumbed to death following multiple organ failure. After Yash Chopra’s demise in 2012, his son, Aditya Chopra carried forwards his legendary father’s legacy.
On the work front, YRF is set to release its upcoming movie Tiger 3 on November 10, 2023 with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif after the previous two parts Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai were massive hits at the box office. Briefly, Tiger 3 is when the RAW agent Avinash Singh Rathore loses his reputation in the masses and tries to prove that he’s truly working for the nation, not against it.
