Monsters are one of the favorite movies of many, and now the makers are ready to level up some destruction with their new verse, Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire. The MonsterVerse returns for its fifth instalment with the new trailer on Sunday, December 3.
Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire comes after Godzilla Vs. Kong was released in 2021. Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree, and Kaylee Hottle reprise their 2021 roles as Dr. Illene Andrews, Bernie Hayes, and Jia, respectively.
This film will delve into the histories of these Titans, their origins and the mysteries of Skull Island and beyond while uncovering the mythic battle that helped forge these extraordinary beings and tied them to humankind forever.
The poster showcases Godzilla’s handprint with his battle-ready face in the Centre with the same aesthetic as the teaser poster. Skar King, a new kaiju, will be seen as the lead facing the titular monsters. The film is slated to hit theatres on April 12, 2024.
