One of the most anticipated films of Megastar Chiranjeevi is God Father. Right from the announcement of the project, there was excitement in the fans. The film is a remake of the Malayalam Superhit movie Lucifer. It’s one of the finest hits in Mohanlal’s career. Megafans and cinephiles who have already seen the Lucifer movie are also excited to witness Chiru in the new avatar. In a bid to satisfy the fans, the movie team released the first look of Megastar as the God Father on Monday.
In the first look teaser, Megastar is seen in a salt and pepper avatar for the first time. Wearing a black Kurta, the star is seen in royal attire with black glasses. Actor Sunil too is seen in the first look opening the door for the God Father. SS Thaman’s background score is elevating the entry of Chiru. Social media was abuzz with Mega153 and God Father hashtags saying that boss is evergreen. But, on the other side, there is negative feedback too for saying the BGM and Chiru’s entry is not up to the expected range. Many are comparing the salt and pepper look of Chiranjeevi to that of Balakrishna in Gopichand Malineni’s flick. The main criticism is that the salt and pepper look didn’t seem to fit Megastar. The observers are suggesting that Chiru could have retained his regular looks rather than the sparsely whitened facial hair. Anyway, Megafans are very happy and that’s whom the movie team targeted especially for the first look. At the end of the teaser, the makers announced that the movie will be released for Vijaya Dasami. Directed by Mohan Raja, the film is bankrolled by Kondela Productions and Super Good Films.
