Barkha Bisht Sengupta is an Indian television and film actress. She worked in Bengali and Hindi TV serials. She made her first appearance on tv in Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. She made her debut on screen with the ‘Raajneeti’ film. She also played the main lead role of Anupama in ‘Doli Saja Ke’ and played cameo roles in ‘Kasauti Zindagi ke’, ‘Kaavyaanjali’, and ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’.
She got married to Indraneil Sengupta in 2008 at Haridwar after 2 years of courtship.
In 2011 she gave birth to a baby girl named Meira. The couple got separated in 2021. Reportedly, the reason for their split might be his closeness with the Bengali actress Isha Saha.
They were divorced in 2021, but none confirmed it. Recently, E-times confirmed that Indraneil and Bharka’s Divorce will come through soon.
The actress is rumored to be dating actor Ashish Sharma from 2022. A source quoted saying “The two started dating [some time] last year. Barkha is an extremely private person and doesn’t like talking about her personal life. She wants to stay away from any kind of publicity, especially around her relationships. However, the two never shy away from going out together to a public place. They became friends and then love happened.”
