Deepika Padukone turns a year older today. As she is celebrating her 38th birthday today, the makers of Fighter have unveiled the BTS of Deepika Padukone on the film sets. The acctress will be seen in the character of Minni, a squadron leader.
In a sneak peek, fans are treated to the irresistible vibes of Deepika Padukone as Minni, a character that oozes Sassy, beautiful, and badass energy. DP is seen dropping in the song sequences and rocking the uber-confident squadron leader look from the Air Dragons Unit.
Siddharth Anand, who directed the film, spoke about Deepika Padukone’s character and said, “Deepika is playing an Air Force officer in Fighter. She’s part of the unit, the elite unit of the Air Force, and it’s based on a lot of reality and authenticity. So it’s something that Deepika has not played before. She has literally bitten into it, and, honestly, it’s a lot like her in real life.”
He also added that “Deepika is so much fun on set. And she’s translating that character as a really good ‘takkar’ (competition) to Hrithik’s character. So it’s very exciting.” Fighters will be reeling on January 25 for Republic Day.
