Fighter, featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone as the male and female leads, is helmed by Siddharth Anand. Marking Deepika’s birthday on January 5, the makers are also planning to launch a special asset, the unseen looks of the actress.
Deepika Padukone will be portrayed as the squadron leader, Minal Rathore, aka Minni, while Hrithik Roshan will be seen as Shamsher Pathania, aka Patty. Anil Kapoor will be seen in a pivotal role as group captain Rakesh Jai Singh, aka Rocky, and Karan Grover Singh in the squadron role of Sartaj Gill, aka Taj.
Sanjeeda Sheikh will play the love interest of Taj and Akshay Oberoi, and Talat Aziz will be seen portraying a key role. Fighter is the first aerial action film ever made in India and will be in theatres on January 25, 2024.
