The Archies is a film directed by Zoya Akhtar to which all the audience are highly anticipated for its release. The reason is that the director is launching all the star kids in this series and giving all the millennials a vintage feeling of comic The Archies through a film.
The Archies marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Kushi Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda, along with talented young actors like Mihir Ahuja, Aditi Saigal, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina.
Ahead of its release, Kushi Kapoor talked about her bonding with her co-stars and how she broke the ice by becoming a gang with them. “We were forced to spend so much time together, and just going through the same experience made us bond so much. I think doing acting workshops together made us open up and be vulnerable with each other. I think towards the end of the shoot we were just kind of moving in a small herd everywhere together.”
Suhana Khan also shared her experience on debuting as an artist calling her parents Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan her biggest source of guidance. Suhana also said that Zoya made everyone feel incredibly comfortable holding their hand, spending a lot of time with each other, and allowing them to spend time with each other.
The GenZ group felt like they had become best friends quickly and couldn’t have asked for a better team. Everyone on the set of The Archies was trying to facilitate Zoya’s vision added Suhana.
Zoya Akhtar’s directorial The Archies is a coming-of-age musical that follows the lives of Archie and their friends in the fictional hilly town of Riverdale exploring friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak, and rebellion. The film is slated to premiere on Netflix starting on December 7.
