Producers Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor are all set to collaborate on a new project. The yet-to-be-titled movie is all set to hit theaters on September 22, 2023. Taking to Instagram, trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared a picture and wrote,” Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor reunite… lock release date of a new movie… producers# Ekhta Kapoor and# Rhea Kapoor join forces yet again[ after Veere Di Wedding and The Crew] for an upcoming movie[ not yet titled]….Also details locked release date: 22 September 2023…. details soon.”
Previously Ekta Kapoor and rhea kapoor collaborated on the film Veere Di Wedding which was released in the year 2018 and starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shika Talsania in the lead roles, despite getting low ratings and negative responses, the movie collected 139 crores with a budget of 28 crores. Speculation around the Veere Di Weeding sequel were circulating on social media for a long time. Although there is no official confirmation of the film is still awaited.
At present the duo is producing a film, ”The Crew” which stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles and it is directed by Rajesh Krishnan.
