Weeks after they collaborated, Drake unfollowed Bobbi Althoff on Instagram, and their entire interview was removed from YouTube. When Drizzy and Althoff stopped following one another, curious followers realised that the interview was also missing from The Really Good Podcast page. Short snippets of the interview do nonetheless still remain.
It’s unknown whether the two had a falling out or whether this is a publicity gimmick for upcoming content. But Althoff arrived at Drake’s It’s All A Blur Tour over the weekend at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, and she tweeted a video of herself appearing irritated while everyone sang along to “SICKO MODE.”
She wrote in the Instagram caption, “Really in my element here @ this guys concert.” One fan hypothesised that Bobbi’s behaviour after seeing Drake perform was related: “Bobbi acting funny at Drake’s concert is weird. Light skin wasn’t going to handle it well, you know.”
Others noted how she disparaged Yachty’s hospitality in a different BFFs Podcast appearance. With Lil Yachty, Tyga, and Offset scheduled to appear on her programme, Althoff has successfully leveraged her relationship with the 6 Gods into additional rap interviews. Bobbi told Cosmopolitan that she decided to take a gamble and try to get Drizzy as a guest after she observed Drake loving social media pictures of her interview with comic Funny Marco.
I just decided to go for it and take my shot,” she remarked. “Drake responded positively when I DMed him asking if he would like to appear on my programme. My friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the initial DM was sent to record the episode since I had received his tour schedule and knew I had to act quickly.
