According to a source close to the situation, Deepika has given dates for her forthcoming projects, which match with the fashion extravaganza.
She is currently busy filming Singham Again and preparing for the release of her next film, Kalki 2898 AD.

A source claimed, “Deepika Padukone has been a regular on the Met Gala Red Carpet. Fans are understandably excited for her participation at this year’s Met Gala, especially given her status as one of India’s most prominent worldwide brand ambassadors.
However, Deepika is now filming Singham 3, which is set to be released later this year, as well as Kalki 2898 AD, which will be released in May, both of which coincide with this year’s Met Gala. As a result, she will not attend this year’s event.
Now, fans awaiting Deepika’s appearance at this year’s MET Gala will be disappointed to learn that the beloved star will not be attending.
The Met Gala 2024, a yearly event for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City, will be held on May 6, 2024.
This year’s theme is ‘Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.’ Deepika , who made her Met Gala debut in 2017, has often demonstrated her exquisite elegance on the red carpet.
