Vin Diesel shared a throwback photo with his XXX: Return of Xander Cage co-star, Deepika Padukone, from his 2017 India trip.
The action star posted an unseen throwback photo with his XXX: Return of Xander Cage co-star Deepika Padukone from when he visited India to promote the film on his Instagram account.
Vin and Deepika were in the country in 2017 to promote the film, which marked Deepika’s Hollywood debut and co-starred Ruby Rose.

This is not the first time Vin has posted about Deepika. In 2023, Vin posted an Instagram snapshot of himself and Deepika, describing her as one of his ‘favorite people to work with’. He also commented, “She brought me to India and I loved it… looking forward to my return.”
Vin’s most recent post recalls his India journey and how he ‘promised’ Deepika Padukone that he would visit the nation.
In the throwback photo, he helped Deepika put on a large coat as they posed alongside an autorickshaw; Deepika was dressed in a red patterned dress and black heels.
He included a lengthy caption with the photo. Vin began by stating, “When I think about how many directors have wanted to work with me multiple times, I am always humbled.” I promised Deepika that I would travel to India with the director at the time, DJ Caruso. Here’s a photo from that trip.
