Custody starring Naga Chaitanya and Krithi Shetty is releasing on May 12 and director Venkat prabhu is excited to see the audience’s reaction. This is Tamil director Venkat Prabhu’s first Telugu film (which he has written as well) and this is Chay’s fist all-out action film as well. Chay is known more his romactic films in Telugu and the Maanadu director promsies that we will see a new side to Chay.
At a press release event held in Chennai, the director said that he wrote the script of the film after watching the Malayalam movie Nayattu. The director said that fans will have a different experience after watching Custody.
Nayattu narrates the storyline of three policers KP Maniyan (Joju George), Sunitha Krishna(Nimisha Sajayan) and Praveen Michael(Kunchacko Boban). They are on a run to escape a false case framed against them. Directed by Martin Prakkat, Nayattu was a hit at the box office.
Director later clarifies on his twitter that he doesn’t exactly mean about his statement, and added that audience will understand when they watch Custody on the big screen on May 12. Hoping custody will stand out as blockbuster this may.
