Karthi’s much-awaited comedy heist drama Japan seems promising with a new concept and a wholesome entertainer. The film is directed by Raju Murugan and produced by S. R. Prabhu.
Japan( Karthi) is a notorious master thief who steals ₹200 crore worth of jewels at a jewelry shop, following which a cat-and-mouse chase ensues between him and the police. The way Karthi narrated the story in the trailer is so funny. His dialogue modulation is so refreshing and increases hype for the film. His body transformation and dialogue delivery are commendable. His sayings are so hilarious. The film seems more twisted than it seems. If script selection is an art, then Karthi masters it. He never acted in the same story. Japan’s story seems intriguing.
Karthi is absolutely funny and brutal in the Japan trailer. The film will break records in Tollywood. G.V. Prakash is composing the background score for the film. The ensemble cast includes Anu Emmanuel, Tollywood star comedian Sunil, Vijay Milton, Vagai Chandrasekhar, and Bava Chelladurai.
Will Japan survive after stealing Rs 200 crores from a minister? Well, you have to wait for it as the film is all set to hit the theatres on Diwali.
