Vijay Deverakonda’s film Liger directed by Puri Jagannath and co-starring Ananya Pandey is the biggest disaster in the careers of Puri Jagannatha and Vijay Devakarakonda. The film is produced by Puri Jagannath and Karan Johar under the banner of Puri Connects and Dharma Productions. This movie opened with huge expectations and became the biggest disaster at the box office. Recently, the exhibitors from Nizam went on a relay hunger strike in front of the Film Chamber in Hyderabad saying that they have lost a lot of money due to this film. They are demanding justice.
Recently the exhibitors and distributors of the Nizam area protested in front of the Film Chamber. They protested that they had suffered huge losses with the movie Liger and requested support for them. They even reminded that Puri Jagannath had previously agreed to settle the losses due to this film.
Telangana Exhibitors and Leisures Association has started a relay hunger strike since yesterday. They demanded justice for the victims of the film Liger. Actress Charmi reacted to this incident. She said that this issue has come to their attention and action will be taken in their favour soon. To this extent, she has sent a message to the Film Chamber through the mail. She promised that justice will be done to all soon.
Even though Puri Jagannath promised the distributors that he will cover the losses, it’s been seven months since the losses and he did not pay any single rupee. The distributors are very furious in this regard.
